Raad Amer is the tour organizer and coordinator. He is a Palestinian from the village of Mas'ha, West Bank who became involved in nonviolent resistance when the apartheid wall was being constructed through his village. Local farmers, together with international and Israeli activists set up a Peace Camp on the route of the construction to try to call media attention to the confiscation of 98% of the villager's farm land, which at the time was only focused on the US invasion of Iraq. He has since dedicated much of his time and energy to fight for justice for Palestinians and support nonviolence in Palestine.
